Growing up as Roman Catholic, I know the importance of each religious sacrament. The Baptism, First communion, Confirmation, and The Wedding to name a few.

We arranged for our first baby’s baptism two months after her birth.

We attended a preparation evening to learn more about this sacrament. The priest explained the importance of the sacrament, and he told us to choose godparents.

You only need 1 or 2, we had 6 (three men and three women). Having support is so crucial in anyone’s faith journey.

We had a celebration which had several details. I designed my daughter’s invitation and I remember back then how difficult it was to find exactly what I wanted. I wanted a lot of personalized items for the event. Such as the baptism giveaways, godparent gifts, favor boxes and decor.

We have four children now, two girls and two boys.

Our son (the third child) was born on the same summer as my niece. We decided to have a joint celebration, it’s like planning a baptism twins. I’m fortunate my sister-in-law and I have the same style and our guests were pretty much the same.

We always had our reception at restaurants because they make things easier. It might not be for everyone but when you have a newborn, having someone else do the clean-up is heaven-sent.

I wanted to share with you some designs that have made it to my shop. Understanding what I was in search of inspired these products. I’m excited that I can offer more options now being a designer, going through party planning makes a big difference.

The baptism days were joyful events worth remembering. We had a friend photograph it for us.
